Google Seo Case Study – Mid December Results

0

So I just wanted to check in to let you guys know how my SEO project is progressing.  Well as a recap, at the end of November my website was experiencing the Google Dance.  This was happening because I was creating too many links in a month (link velocity) to my newly created website.  What I ended up doing (or having my link builders d0) is to lower the speed at which they were delivering links to my website.  Viola, after about 10 days in the Google Dance (from November 30, 2010 to Dec 9, 2010), my website came back stronger than before.

As you can see on the spreadsheet below, many of my keywords are now ranked in the top 26 position or below in Google.  Although I still have a long ways to go, this is motivation for me to keep going down the path I’m traversing right now.  One more thing to note on the spreadsheet is there is a new column called “Daily Payout (Keyword Worth)”.   This column highlights the estimated amount that I’ll receive in conversions once I am at position #1 for that particular keyword.  Its based on the following computation.

(#of Daily Searches)  x (35% of Searches Clicking on Website) x (5% of Conversions of Visitors) x ($13.00 Product)

As you can see, the keywords I’m trying to rank for are worth alot of money at the #1 position in Google.  Now, please note that these are conservative estimates and until I reach position #1 I won’t know exactly what my rates will be.  I will post again at the end of December with an update on the progress of this project.  Wish me well in my endeavors.

Also, as a FYI, just renewed a contract with one of the outsource workers I’ve been using to do my search engine optimization work.  If he keeps doing good work, then I will definitely keep them around for future projects that I have in mind.
