Here’s a little secret about my family.  We are diametrically opposed to Apple products.  We don’t own an Ipod, Ipad, or Iphone.  We were one of those pro-Windows families that thought that Apple products were grossly overrated and over priced.  Never in a million years would I ever think that would own an Apple Ipad 2.  So what happened to bring about this change?  Between the dates of July 5th and August 5th, YeahCPA.com was hosting a contest for affiliates.  Basically, if you could produce a certain amount of commissions within a month’s time frame you would be eligible for certain prizes.  Below is an email I got from YeahCPA talking about their new contest:

Since I had a few very profitable campaigns on that network already, I figured hey let me enter the contest to see what I could win. Needless to say after about a month of promoting various offers, I was able to cross the $5,000+ commission threshold to win an Ipad 2.  I have to admit, the Ipad 2 is pretty cool.  I’m still in the process of downloading various apps for it, but my preliminary assessment of it tells me its a keeper.
On top of receiving a free Ipad, I decided to treat myself to something I’ve wanted for over a year now.  An AR Drone.  Basically its a wi-fi control quadricopter that have forward and downward facing cameras which stream realtime video back to your Ipad!  How cool is that?!?! You fly it by tilting your Ipad forward, backwards, left, and right.   An awesome toy!
